175 Online Article Directories
One of the most talked about ways to increase traffic and gain more backlinks is using online article submission. Basically, you write a nice article with a couple links and submit it, or versions of it, to some of the sites below. These article sites list your article as well as offer it to webmasters to use as content on their site.
While I am not a huge believer that this is the best use of your time (why not spend the time writing articles for YOUR website) and having the same article with the same backlinks will likely be caught as duplicate content and devalued, some people live and die by this method.
If used correctly, these are good resources, however. You do get solid backlinks and if you do it right, you can get some nice traffic from sites that are syndicating these feeds. Associated Content will even PAY you for your work based on an impression basis.
